This is my American Electric 100watt mercury vapor 120volt yard light. I got this light 1-30-10 at a hardware store. It has been sitting there for a long time and has never been opened. As you can see it has a plastic housing (not metal). It has a photocell socket instead of the photocell being built-in. The fixture can be mounted on an arm or the small arm that is supplied with the light. The ballast is very heavy and very big! The socket is mogul (not medium). The fixture came with a Philips-Westinghouse 100watt deluxe white (H38JA-100/DX) bulb that was made in the USA. The fixture also came with a ALR (Area Lighting Research) 120volt (LC-120) photocell that was made in the USA. The fixture was made in April-30-1986, bulb was made in September-1985, and photocell was made in September-1985. See turning on here: www.youtube.com
